April 2018 Meeting Reminder

The next Seattle Base meeting is this coming Wednesday, April 18, 2018. We will meet at VFW Post #2995 (4330 148th Ave N.E., Redmond WA 98052). Social hour starts at 6PM with business meeting at 7PM.

During the business meeting will cover upcoming events. We are looking for volunteers for the upcoming Cabela’s Armed Forces Day event on May 19 and 20. We need someone to tow the float to the store and volunteers to meet and greet the public. You can also sign up for the Smokey Point Rest Stop event on June 1 – 4.

The business meeting will be followed by a presentation by Steve Lewis, current leader of the local Silent Service Motorcycle Club. Steve will talk about his experiences in Vietnam while in the Marines. He will have photos and a film. We are looking forward to the Steve’s talk and hope to see you at the meeting!
