May Meeting Reminder and National News

Shipmates and Associates,

We will be having the next Seattle Base meeting this coming Wednesday, May 16, at VFW Post #2995 (4330 148th Ave N.E., Redmond WA 98052). Social hour starts at 6 PM with business meeting at 7PM. Don't forget to review the previous meeting minutes, you can find them here on the blog or on the Seattle Base website, just click the Minutes button on the left.

The COB Ralph Sterley will be giving a short speech about “How to Buy American.” We will also have a DVD on DBF as presented on the Alaska Cruise Convention. This DVD was given to us by John Clear EMC(SS) Ret. for our base.

Base Member Earl Greening, who lives up in Anacortes, would like to find someone to car pool with to attend our meetings. If you can provide a ride, let us know and we can put you in touch with Earl. Please share this around and hopefully we can find someone to join with him.
